KHEPRI
Khepri, as one of the principal members of the triad of Ra and Atum, known
for his role in creation, is somewhat regarded as being reminiscent of the
Ben-ben stone known also as the primeval mound of creation.
To be swallowed by his mother Nut every night and to be reborn the next day
with the rising of the sun, Khepri’s role is established by his participating
in the pushing up of the sun, into the sky, like a giant ball of dung. He
has a strong relation to the heart of all living creatures.
