Gusty winds of autumn are creating eddies of dry leaves that are being swept up getting themselves caught in the nooks and crannies of the majestic steps leading up to this Neoclassic architectural monument.

The Lausanne Art Museum stands proud looking down upon its indoctrinated followers that stroll across the Place de la Riponne, a large open square facing this ostentatious building.

There are a number of construction workers who have been on the job since seven-o’clock, on this cold morning, erecting the wooden pyramid walk through that will serve as a memorable entrance into this exceptional event.

Two wooden totems are standing along each side that
are scaled down models of American and Soviet Rockets used in the race into space and to the moon. Complimentary to the Pyramid, where the apex will eventually hold a sphere representing the moon, are two rockets looking as familiar as the famous Egyptian Obelisks.
